Tasting Notes

As a member of the onion family, Chives give a subtle onion flavour to any dish.

Chives are the smallest member of the onion family. They grow in clumps and it is the leaves that are used to flavour dishes. Substitutes for Chives include: Green onion tops or Chinese chives. Chives combine well with egg and cheese dishes and works well as a garnish, sprinkled over salad or vegetables.
