  • 1 litre dry cider
  • 1 Bart Cinnamon Stick
  • 3 Bart Cloves
  • 2 Bart Bay Leaves
  • 4 Bart Cardamom Pods grating of Bart Nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp brandy or rum

  1. Place the cider, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, cardamom, nutmeg and sugar in a large pan.Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved, then bring almost to simmering point.
  2. Heat very gently for 10 minutes, taking care not to let the cider boil.
  3. Stir in the brandy or rum, then pout the cider into glasses.
